:I Am Sorry For You My Sister:
I can honestly empathize with what my younger sister is going through right now, as much as I hate her guts sometimes. She deserves to be where she hopes to be.
I've been there before, more than you. More painful than what you're going through now. You'll grow into such a bitter and hopeless person when it comes to issues like this, -its too miserable to endure.
Honestly, I have given up on trying.
I have given up the best opportunities to see the places that my parents couldn't take me to. I've given up the best opportunities to work with the people that some are ready to kill me for.
Yes I have given up, literally.
I know alot of parents out there who would be so proud of my sister and her opportunities. But NO, some are way too concerned of being 'the right one', 'the one who always knows it all, even more than the system', too concerned about being shot down by terrorists, or being raped by strange men in strange lands.
Guess what, if Allah decides it, then I think we can all be stabbed dead right at our own doorstep, or we girls can be raped right in our own bedroom. Perhaps its time to learn that it is all in God's hands, not ours.
My cousin, Yusof, is right. He said, "If you stay permanently employed, you will never catch your dreams, I guess." And he said it with such regret.
For me, I have given up on that hope to see that particular dream. Because someone just HAVE to spoil it for me. And now perhaps for my sister as well.
I wish I born with a dick instead. Then I can have it easy like my brother. Cos somehow, everything about him is right. Come on, I dare people to make a list of 'WRONG' things between my brother and his sisters. The girls' list will stretch all the way to China...-if we're ever allowed there in the first place.
